When it comes to affordable housing options, EAH is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all residents in the communities and surrounding neighborhoods that we serve. We look beyond the simple preservation of physical assets and are motivated by an authentic concern for all—creating secure communities where residents can thrive.
EAH housing options include:
- Markham Plaza, a 305-unit SRO complex in San Jose, CA which includes 10 Project-Based Section 8 vouchers for formerly homeless individuals. Partnerships from within the city and county provide an incredible array of services to its residents, including delivery of more than 50,000 pounds of food a year from Second Harvest Food Bank.
- Cathedral Gardens is an affordable housing community in Oakland, CA featuring 100 income-restricted units. All residents are low-income, and a percentage qualify for units set aside for the formerly homeless, those with HIV, and individuals with mental health challenges.
- Willow Housing in Menlo Park, CA provides permanent, service-enriched housing to veterans transitioning out of homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness. The facility operates year-round and has 60 residential units and community gathering areas. Supportive services are geared toward the unique needs and experiences of veterans, including case management, access to neighborhood and community resources, and on-site recreational activities.
We are dedicated to turning around the housing crisis in our country with affordable housing options by EAH.
