Established in 1968, EAH Housing is one of the largest and most respected affordable non-profit housing development and management organizations in the western United States founded with the belief that attractive affordable rental housing is the cornerstone to sustainable, living communities. Starting from humble origins, EAH has grown to a staff of over 450, managing over 100 properties in California and Hawaii, and playing a leadership role in local, regional, and national housing advocacy efforts.
Affordable housing by EAH, a non-profit organization, provides on-site services and promotes good relationships between its residents and the community. With a diverse population of over 20,000 residents, including seniors, families, students, people with disabilities, and the formerly homeless, EAH recognizes that there are many auxiliary needs for its residents. In addition to affordable non-profit housing, EAH offers a culturally sensitive system of social and healthy lifestyle activities tailored to the individual, empowering its many residents with the opportunity for independence, integrity, and dignity.
Our aim is to implement enriching, integrative service modalities for our residents, ensuring that they lead healthy productive lives in a community that enhances the surrounding neighborhoods. EAH Housing is working to be a part of the solution to ending homelessness and the lack of affordable rental housing in Hawaii and California.
